Kygo´s tour photographer first in ranking

Kygo´s tour photographer, Johannes Lovund was recently voted the world’s best festival photographer.

Readers of Edmsauce.com from 63 countries picked Lovund from a pool of 50 nominees. The 22-year-old from Ålesund, Norway received 19,000 votes to take top spot.

He says receiving that many votes was a surreal experience.

“It was totally unreal when I received word that I was nominated in the competition as the only Scandinavian,” he says. “That alone is a big honour.”

Lovund travelled to festivals where Kygo was performing in 2015, photographing artists such as David Guetta, Fergie and Elton John.

Johannes Lovund took all the photographs in this article. The photos below feature Kygo´s Cloud Nine Concert in Bergen, Norway in August, 2016.
